Introduction
Over
the years, I’ve become so aware that in
the 21st Century Church, we have little or no
education in the area of Financial Planning. Yet
today, there are so many who face a crisis of
devastation within their own financial world.
The Church has chosen to major on doctrinal subjects,
traditions and end times theology, while this
generation and the next head for financial ruin.
It
is with this in mind that I have written this
twelve month financial foundation course. If we
are honest, the majority of us would admit to
having a desire to be financially prosperous.
Most of us would agree that we are fascinated
by life’s achievers. However, true financial
success will never be obtained overnight. You
will find that the financially independent man
will continually and habitually think ‘outside
of the box’. He will be prepared to do things
that most of us are not prepared to do. He will
work evenings, weekends and sacrifice social occasions
in order to create his own financial security.
A staggering £50 billion is gambled in the
UK every single year. This one statistic demonstrates
clearly that so many of us are looking for an
easy way to make money. The truth is that 95%
of us will be greatly disappointed.
This
course is not for those who are looking for a
‘financial quick fix’ but is specifically
designed for those who desire principles, wisdom,
strategies and a sound forward plan. Being successful
comes with a price tag, being unsuccessful also
comes with a price tag. We have a choice to make;
a life of discipline, or a life of regret? Procrastination
can become as natural as breathing. We put things
off by way of habit, always pushing important
issues to the bottom of the pile. Dear Brother
and Sister, hear my heart! I pray that none of
you will ever get to that place in life, where
all have left is the desire for more time. Unless
we begin to plan and prioritise our todays, then
our tomorrows will look just like our yesterdays.
In
today’s business world, thousands even millions
of pounds is spent on continual professional and
personal development, while the Church sleeps
and fails to move on.
This
Financial Foundation Course is not for the faint
hearted but for those who are committed and dedicated
to changing the future for themselves and for
their families. Are you willing to make this change

Financial Foundation Course
The purpose of this course is to educate the Body
of Christ in the area of Biblical and Practical
Financial Planning. During the course, we will
build a foundation for your future financial well
being. In the natural, the first step to building
any structure is to lay the foundation. Without
this vital first step, the building could never
withstand rain, blizzards, storms or the test
of time.
When
God created the World, He did so with the intention
that Man should walk in Dominion, exercising rule
and authority on the Earth. All that God gave
to Adam and Eve was stolen from them by Satan,
the enemy of our own soul. I believe with all
of my heart that ‘The Fall’ came to
pass because there was NO FOUNDATION to protect
them from the deceit and tactics of the great
archenemy, Lucifer. Satan knew that if he acted
quickly before a foundation was laid, he could
steal away the Rule and Authority intended for
Adam and Eve.
Halting
the laying of solid foundation in the lives of
Christians is Satan’s master tact. He knows
so well, that once a biblical foundation is laid,
he can do nothing to destroy the structure. Jesus
taught in Mark 4; 14-17 14The sower sows the Word.
15The ones along the path are those who have the
Word sown [in their hearts], but when they hear,
Satan comes at once and [by force] takes away
the message which is sown in them.
16And in the same way the ones sown upon stony
ground are those who, when they hear the Word,
at once receive and accept and welcome it with
joy; 17And they have no real root in themselves,
and so they endure for a little while; then when
trouble or persecution arises on account of the
Word, they immediately are offended (become displeased,
indignant, resentful) and they stumble and fall
away.
Jesus went on to say that if you don’t understand
this parable, will you understand any parable?.
Your current financial position is a direct result
of having no financial foundation. Therefore,
the enemy has easy access to rob, steal and destroy.
Financial Foundations
Think about your current financial situation for
a moment! Ask yourself this question. “What
foundation have I laid” The fact is that
95% of the people on this planet would answer
“None Whatsoever”!! The majority of
us are given no foundational information from
either, parents, school or Church. This explains
why so many suffer, distress, anxiety, fear, poor
health and marital problems due to financial lack.
You can take responsibility for turning this around
now by enrolling in this Practical Prosperity

The
Unbalanced Prosperity Doctrine
I believe in Prosperity with all my heart. I believe
that God wants His Children to be a success in
every area of life. I do become concerned however,
with some areas of Prosperity Teaching promoted
by my contemporaries. The first rule given by
God was that we should work, yet some Prosperity
Teachers promote continual lazy dependence on
financial miracles and supernatural provision.
I
totally believe that our God shall supply all
our needs according to His Riches in Glory by
Christ Jesus (Phillipians 4; 19) but I do not
believe that God should be expected to make up
for our own shortcomings. Is it the truth that
if we are not wise stewards of our finances, but
sow into certain Ministries that God will allow
us to share in the anointing of another person?
Is it the truth that if a man abuses his wife
or his family, but sows a cash seed or sends for
some miracle water that God will bless him financially.
The answer is a resounding NO! Poverty is not
a financial condition, nor is it a demonic condition,
it’s a mental condition! When you increase
in wisdom, you will increase in wealth!
Procrastination
Too many people fail to have the courage of their
own convictions! They fail to take action on what
they believe to be the truth. They may talk about
it at length, have strong opinions about it, but
when it comes to actually taking action, they
fall by the wayside. You may be reading this page
and totally agree with everything I’m saying,
but you will be in danger of procrastinating if
you don’t take action now. Winners do today
what others don’t - in order to have tomorrow
what others won’t.
Psalm 1 ; 1-3 – Whatever he DOES prospers
Joshua 1:8 - ‘DO’ according to the
Word of God, then you will be prosperous and successful.
God
can only bless whatever you are prepared to ‘DO’
I
promise, that if you commit to this course for
one year of your life, I will provide you with

Month 1 – Getting Organised
In this teaching, you will learn the importance
of organisation within finance. God is a God of
order and not of disorder (1st Corinthians 14;33)
This
Scripture speaks of successfully running a race.
If we don’t get off the starting blocks,
we have no chance of winning.
24Do you not know that in a race all the runners
compete, but [only] one receives the prize? So
run [your race] that you may lay hold [of the
prize] and make it yours. (1st Corinthians 9;24)

Month 2 – Analysis of Cash Flow
In Month 2, you will learn how to determine your
financial priorities and eliminate overspending.
You will learn how to drop out of things which
are draining your finances unnecessarily. Examining
your present actions and uncovering the truth
about your current situation will enable you to
move forward and obtain a stronger position financially.

Month 3 – Financial Strategies
Now that you have examined all the facts and cut
out unnecessary spending, you are ready to strategise!
Strategy means; a long term plan to achieve success
– the art of conduct in a war. Let’s
begin integrating some strategy to your day to
day expenditure.

Month 4 – How To Identify Your Financial
Needs
You will now have all of your priorities listed
and eliminated unnecessary spending. However,
you still have financial needs that you still
unaware of. In this teaching, you will learn how
to identify and satisfy these crucial needs.

Month 5 – Attack the Debt
This month you will learn ‘how to confront
what’s controlling you’ Harvest is
not a natural event, it requires human participation.
We are called to live an Abundant Life, not a
redundant life!
Foundation Month 6 – Personal Development
To earn more, you need to learn more. In this
teaching you will learn the importance of Personal
Development. Personal Education will earn you
a living, but Personal Development will earn you
a fortune.
Foundation Month 7 – Becoming a
Financial Champion
Champions are dedicated and passionate people
who have a God given desire change and impact
the world. Big dreamers are big doers! Financial
Champions win the war not just a battle. They
are equipped for a marathon and not just a sprint.
In this section, we discuss your dreams, desires,
goals, and personal ambition. 18But you shall
[earnestly] remember the Lord your God, for it
is He Who gives you power to get wealth, that
He may establish His covenant which He swore to
your fathers, as it is this day. (Deut 8;18 )

Month 8 – Understanding Investments
There is a well known saying which says “A
little knowledge is a dangerous thing” When
it comes to investments, this statement is so
so true! 6My people are destroyed for lack of
knowledge; (Hosea 4;6) Unless we are armed with
the correct information, we will fail to make
the correct decisions. In this teaching you will
learn what investment really means.
Foundation Month 9 – Money and Happiness
Money can never buy us happiness but it can be
used to eliminate unhappiness. Too little money
can make you miserable. Money and happiness are
not the same, this truth must be understood.
Foundation Month 10 – Wealth is
a consequence – not a reward
Money is a payment given for clever thinking and
hard work. The harder and smarter you work, the
more you will earn. Too many Christians look at
the wealthy and make personal judgments about
whether that wealth is deserved or undeserved.
However, in the majority of cases, wealth is a
consequence of hard work.

Month 11 – Invest in a Mentor
Remember that Financial Planning is a long haul
process. During the course of your life, your
financial requirements will change at various
stages. Retaining the services of a financial
mentor to assist you with these challenges can
eliminate costly errors. A mentor is on tap to
provide answers, advice, suggestions, support,
restraint, encouragement and wisdom.

12 – Work on Your Wealth Strategy
80% of your time should be allocated to revenue
based activity. To be continually successful,
you need to live a lifestyle of making new habits
and breaking old habits. You will find that wealthy
people usually have several money making income
streams.
